This poster is part of an attempt to educate and inform the public about the historical culture and importance of the indigo plant and how it has been used as a dye for thousands of years and is where the famous navy blue derives from. The faces of a handful of cultures branch out of the indigo plant to represent the connection this plant has caused and its reach globally.
