For the BIO-DIVERSITY project I created a book and a webpage on the theme of spices, which focuses on the history and culture of spices and the characteristics of their origins. The whole project was created in an archive-like way, using black and pink as the main colours. The book is divided into two booklets, one introducing the historical origins of spices, and the other comparing the appearance of spices in nature and commodities. The webpage is a spin-off of the book, which further introduces more about the origins and history and culture of spices, and gives an insight into what spices look like apart from commodities - how they came to be in our lives.
